ReplyDeleteI think what often happens is that people either don't know how to go about getting a website or are perhaps scared that it will cost them too much money.
That said it is fairly easy to investigate how to get a website and how much it will cost. In fact there are actually free options, not that I would recommend them under all circumstances, but a free option may suit a limited number of businesses that are prepared to accept the limitations.
So I agree with you, there really is no reason for any business to do without a web presence, and depending on what you want to achieve that could be done for virtually nothing or at a reasonable cost when considering the potential of the Internet, there are lots of people competing for website design work who will work at very competitive rates.
